1. Conjunction of Mars and Venus - When Mars and Venus are in conjunct, especially in 2nd, 7th or 11th house, then the couple may get separated when the aspect of Gochara Shani (Transit Saturn) falls on this conjunction or when Gochara Shani Transits through this conjunction

2. Conjunction of Venus and Sun - Venus and Sun in conjunct can trigger ego problem between couple which may eventually lead to divorce. 3. 4. Affliction of 2nd house and / or its Lord - When the 2nd house (Family) and / or its Lord is afflicted by debilitation of the lord or due to association with Malefic planets, it indicates the family will be afflicted, may be because of separation of couples

5. Affliction of 12th house and / or its Lord - When the 12th house (Bed pleasure) and / or its Lord is afflicted by debilitation of the lord or due to association with Malefic planets, it indicates the native is not going to have bed pleasure. Predicting the period for Divorce : The divorce will take place during Mars, Rahu, Ashtamathipathi (8th house Lord) or other Malefic Planet Dasha. The Bhukthi Lord can be Saturn, Venus, Sun, Mars or Lord of 2nd or 7th or 12th house or planets posited in these houses.

Sample 1 : Shown below is the horoscope of a person living apart from spouse.

The native got married in 2003 and separated in 2010. The couples have children who are living with their mother. The native got married during Rahu Dasha & Saturn Bhukthi and separated during Rahu Dasha & Venus Bhukthi.

In this horoscope,

1. The 7th house (Life Partner) is afflicted by the placement of debilitated Mars (separator). Functionally, Mars is Badhakathipathi for Aquarius Ascendant and it will pronounce harmful result up on the native as it is posited alone
2. The 7th house Lord is in conjunction with Rahu (Grahana Dosha), despite the Moon is exalted

We know that Manglik Dosha or Sevvai Dosham can lead to separation or divorce. In this horoscope, we can see Mars posited in the 4th house and also the conjunction of Sun and Venus, which triggers Ego problem leading to separation. During 2015, Gochara Shani was transiting through Scorpio sign, where Venus, Sun along with Saturn and Mercury are posited.

In this horoscope,

1. The 7th house (Life Partner) is afflicted by the placement of debilitated Jupiter

The native got married in 2022 at the age of 32. It was a late marriage due Saturn and Mars association.

We can see that Rahu posited in Lagnam connects Lagnathipathi Jupiter, 7th house Lord Mercury (anti clockwise 3rd aspect), 8th house Lord Venus, Moon (clockwise 3rd aspect) and Mars (which aspects Rahu). We know that Rahu being rival to Sun & Moon, it will pronounce harmful result during Sun & Moon Bhukthi.

Although the marriage took place late, the marriage did not last long. It broke up within 6 months and the couple separated in 2023 and divorced in 2024. The whole episode took place in Rahu Dasha. The native married during Rahu Dasha & Sun Bhukthi, separated during Moon Bhukthi and divorced during Mars Bhukthi.
